Swedish company Avinode (Booth D69) has added a messaging/chat feature to its digital products such as TripManager, so that “the many questions when arranging a private flight, from ‘will golf clubs fit on this aircraft’ to ‘will there be a VIP limousine waiting on arrival?’ can be asked and answered through a messaging service–rather than by phone or e-mail." Avinode claims this can speed up communications and minimize misunderstandings and missed communications.


According to Avinode CEO Oliver King, more than 600 messages were sent on the first day alone (May 7). During EBACE 2018, Avinode is stressing the workflow improvements offered to charter brokers by its TripManager sales management system, “rather than rely on legacy processes.”
