FlightSafety International will offer training for the Pilatus PC-12NG at its Denver learning center, marking its third PC-12 simulator and second training location for the turboprop single. The new simulator is expected to be level-D qualified and enter service this fall.

“This further expansion of our Pilatus PC-12 program clearly demonstrates the need and desire for high-quality training,” said FlightSafety executive v-p David Davenport. “We look forward to welcoming flight departments, fleet operators and individuals who fly the Pilatus PC-12NG to our new Denver learning center.”

Meanwhile, the company is adding a simulator for the Textron Aviation Beechcraft King Air 200 with Garmin G1000NXi avionics to its Wichita East learning center. Training is scheduled to begin in August, following FAA level-D qualification.

The simulator will feature wireless cockpit connectivity, wireless database updates using Garmin Flight Stream, enhanced situational awareness with SurfaceWatch, visual approaches, and map overlay on the HSI, among others.

FlightSafety’s Wichita East learning center has 20 level-D simulators and other advanced training devices for various Textron Aviation pistons, turboprops, and jets, as well as for the Bombardier Learjet 45.
