West Star Aviation recently received approval from Brazil’s civil aviation authority, the Agência Nacional de Aviação Civil (ANAC), for its East Alton, Illinois facility to provide maintenance services for Brazilian-registered aircraft. Through the agreement, West Star offers services such as avionics and modifications installations, scheduled inspections, repairs, and line maintenance on the aircraft.
"We look forward to the continued growth that this approval brings to West Star," said West Star general manager Scott Sweeney. "This is a milestone for expanding our business in the U.S. and worldwide, while also allowing us to heighten our capabilities and services to aircraft registered across the Brazilian market.”
West Star Aviation has experience repairing and maintaining airframes, windows, and engines. The MRO also completes major modifications, avionics installations, and repairs, interior refurbishment, and offers surplus avionics sales, accessory services, paints, and parts.
