The 2019 edition of Helitech International (to be known as the Vertical Flight Expo & Conference) will be held at Farnborough International’s recently launched Exhibition & Conference Centre, a newly built permanent structure for exhibitions. Helitech International—Europe’s largest event for the rotorcraft industry—takes place annually, alternating between London and Amsterdam’s RAI Amsterdam Exhibition and Convention Centre.

Teresa Heitor, Helitech International’s event manager, pointed out, “Farnborough International has a long history, rich in pioneering heritage and presenting cutting-edge innovations. The new venue is just 30 minutes from London’s Heathrow Airport and 35 minutes from London Waterloo by train and will provide exhibitors with enhanced facilities to showcase their latest products. The airfield location will facilitate live product demonstrations and displays as well as customer demonstration and test flights.
To maximize the potential of the new airfield location Helitech International has confirmed that it will subsidize landing fees for all exhibitors and visitors.
Tim Fauchon, CEO of the British Helicopter Association, said that the association “welcomes the move of Helitech International to Farnborough to showcase the capabilities of the European helicopter industry and offer the industry a great venue—and airfield—to demonstrate the latest technologies and innovation.
