Duncan Aviation’s satellite avionics shops in Denver, and Austin and Dallas, Texas, now have certifications from Mexico’s Dirección General de Aeronáutica Civil (DGAC), allowing the locations to provide avionics services on XA-numbered aircraft.
“We’ve had several requests from customers with aircraft based in Mexico and we anticipate that will only increase, especially with the upcoming ADS-B mandate,” said Duncan Aviation manager of satellite operations Matt Nelson.
These three shops join those in Scottsdale, Arizona; Van Nuys, California; Las Vegas; and Houston as Duncan Aviation satellite avionics facilities with DGAC certification. Duncan’s locations hold certificates for 10 additional civil aviation authorities: its Battle Creek, Michigan facility has authorizations for Bermuda, Brazil, Cayman Islands, EASA, and Mexico; its Lincoln, Nebraska shop holds approvals from Argentina, Aruba, Bermuda, Brazil, Cayman Islands, China, EASA, Mexico, Venezuela, and India; and its Provo, Utah facility has nods from Bermuda, Brazil, Cayman Islands, EASA, and Mexico.
