ExecuJet has received FAA Part 145 authorization for its MRO facility in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. With that certification, the 64,000-sq-ft repair station at Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport, the largest in the country, is now approved to work on U.S.-registered aircraft.
It is a Bombardier Business Aircraft-authorized service facility and a limited Gulfstream-authorized warranty location, as well as an authorized dealer and service provider for Honeywell avionics and APUs, Rockwell Collins, and Satcom Direct. The Kuala Lumpur facility also provides support for Rolls-Royce BR710 and General Electric CF34 engines.
“Achieving FAA Part 145 accreditation is a testament to our quality system in the Kuala Lumpur facility and adds to our existing list of approvals from the various national airworthiness authorities,” said Ivan Lim, manager of the Luxaviation subsidiary’s Malaysian operation. “With this pillar of American aviation behind us, we can further extend ExecuJet’s industry-leading maintenance capabilities to N-numbered aircraft in the region.”
