Content Body

Italian VIP interiors and aircraft flight controls specialist Mecaer Aviation Group (MAG; Hall 1, G283) is showcasing its MAGnificent luxury helicopter interiors for Bell’s 505 Jet Ranger X, 429 GlobalRanger, and 525 Relentless this week at Bell's Paris Air Show static display (A2, A4). It’s the first time the three interiors have been shown together, said MAG co-GM Armando Sassoli, adding, “All three are functional systems, allowing visitors to use the technology and appreciate the ‘made in Italy’ luxury.”

The MAGnificent interior for the Bell 505 adds new panels/liners to the ceiling, doors, and sidewalls; modified passenger and crew seats; carpeting; and entry thresholds. It adds only 70 pounds to the helicopter's weight.

The deluxe Bell 429 upgrade—available in four-, five-, or six-passenger configurations is equipped with MAG’s Silens (Sound Intensity Level Enhanced Noise System) noise suppression technology and I-Feel (In-Flight Entertainment Enhanced Lounge) system, and outfitted in customized client-selected materials. Bell 525’s MAGnificent cabin on display is outfitted with three standard passenger seats and four captain chairs, I-Feel, Silens, elctrochromatic windows (as is the 429), and a limousine window in the forward bulkhead.

In addition to VIP helicopter interiors, MAG makes integrated systems including flight controls, landing gear, and actuation systems.
