FlightAware has signed on Embraer Executive Jets as its second airframer to join the Entry Into Service program, giving owners and operators of new or preowned Embraer business jets a complimentary one-year subscription to FlightAware Global, its premium flight tracking service. Textron Aviation was the launch OEM for the program that was rolled out in June.
“FlightAware Global is an exemplary service that enhances the entry into service experience,” said Embraer Executive Jets senior v-p of flight operations Bradley McKeage. “Through this program, our customers get private, global flight tracking and features that enable them to streamline communications and improve operational efficiency.”
In addition to the worldwide flight tracking that users of its mobile and desktop apps receive, FlightAware Global offers Aerion space-based ADS-B coverage, power-on to power-off status alerts, premium weather, FBO scheduling, and selective unblocking, allowing operators to select who can see their aircraft movements.
“Our Entry Into Service program lets aircraft owners and operators begin using FlightAware Global the moment they take delivery of their new Embraer Executive Jet,” FlightAware founder and CEO Daniel Baker said. “We set everything up in advance and make it incredibly easy for Embraer customers to take advantage of this service.”
