Strong Performance for Embraer Executive Jets

Embraer released its second-quarter earnings results for 2019 on August 14. The company showed good performance across all segments, with increased revenue over the same period in 2018 and an order backlog that stands at $16.9 billion. Executive Jets was the best performing segment, increasing its proportion of company revenues from 16.5 percent in the second quarter of 2018 to 21.5 percent in this year's second quarter.

During the second quarter of 2019 Embraer Executive Jets delivered 25 aircraft—19 light jets and six large—compared with 20 (15/5) for the corresponding 2018 period. The company raised year-to-date delivery totals to 27 light and nine large executive jets.
