Signature Flight Support has reaffirmed its commitment to its Signature Select and Epic-branded FBO programs by naming new leadership for them. Owen Busch, most recently v-p of business and general aviation bulk sales and v-p of global sales excellence with World Fuel Services, was named v-p of sales for Epic Fuels and Signature Select. To support the expansion of the Signature Select program, which allows independent FBOs to join the Signature Network while maintaining their existing company names and ownership, Ben Johnson was promoted from general manager of the chain’s location at Houston’s Ellington Airport to director of the Signature Select program.

“The combination of our trusted Epic Fuels FBO presence with the Signature Select brand enables FBO owners to grow in a way that best fits their current business needs and future aspirations,” said Kevin Cox, president of Epic Fuels and Signature Select. “Whether utilizing Epic’s long-standing expertise in fuel supply and aviation operational infrastructure, or tapping into the resources and commercial programs of Signature Flight Support to access additional customers and unlock new value for their business, the combination of Epic and Signature undoubtedly has the right platform to fit the unique needs of any independent FBO.”

Over the past year, through acquisitions, new facilities, and licensing agreements, Signature has expanded its global network by offering services at 16 new locations in six countries. "This growth is in line with our long-term strategy of targeted global expansion, which complements meaningful improvements across our commercial, safety, and service programs," said Mark Johnstone, CEO of SIgnature and parent BBA Aviation. He added the company expects continued growth in 2020 and beyond.

Signature (Booth N6110) also announced that it has expanded its TechnicAir MRO capabilities with the launch of a new mobile service unit (MSU) at the UK’s Manchester Airport. The addition broadens its coverage across Northern England, the Midlands, and southern Scotland, complementing the BBA Aviation subsidiary’s four existing MSU’s located at Bournemouth Hurn, Farnborough, London Luton and London Biggin Hill Airports.
