Travelpro Introduces New International-sized Carry-on

Georgia-based Travelpro (Booth N2712) recently introduced a new international-sized carry-on bag as part of its Platinum Elite lineup. Thinner than the traditional carry-on by more than one-inch, the International Expandable Carry-on fits in 80 percent of international airline overhead bins, according to Travelpro trade marketing manager Jeromy Welch. 

“These [Platinum Elite] bags are covered by our Built-for-a-Lifetime warranty, which covers most things that commonly break on luggage, like wheels and handles,” said Welch. “Our FlightCrew line of carry-ons use durable rollerblade wheels that can be easily accessed and replaced.”

Retail price on the Platinum Elite bags runs from $160 to $430 depending on the size of bag. Professional flight crews receive a 20 percent discount.
