Astronics Corporation (Booth 1428) has received an amended STC from Transport Canada for its Max-Viz 1400 and 1200 Enhanced Vision Systems on Bell 407 helicopters. Astronics obtained the approval in cooperation with Calgary, Canada-based Avio. The first installation is being performed on a Bell 407GXI for a VIP client, New York-based Astronics said. FAA validation is expected to follow within six months, it added.
