West Star Expands Chattanooga Site for Embraer Mx

A growing Embraer Executive Jets maintenance program has prompted West Star Aviation to acquire more hangar space at its Chattanooga, Tennessee, facility. In addition to accommodating an increase in Embraer authorized maintenance work there, the extra space will enable West Star to serve operators of business aircraft from other OEMs.

“With the additional 12,500 sq ft of hangar space, our staff now has the ability to offer additional maintenance and service needs to even more customers, reducing turn times and getting our customers back in the air sooner,” said West Star Chattanooga Embraer program manager Michael Forehand.

The MRO provider’s Chattanooga location serves as a one-stop-shop for Embraer maintenance. It also is the only Embraer authorized Phenom 100 and 300 landing gear overhaul facility. Other services to Embraer operators there include interior and paint refurbishment, as well as complete customization.
