Content Body

Baldwin Safety and Compliance (Booth 3227) has introduced its new safety manager certification virtual training program, which has been accepted for credit toward the NBAA Certified Aviation Manager (CAM). Safety manager courses provide participants practical information on how to perform the day-to-day tasks of the position and cover key areas required to effectively manage a safety management system (SMS).

“This new program not only provides a strong SMS foundation for new safety managers but takes a practical approach to their roles and responsibilities. Everyone at Baldwin involved in this program worked very hard over the last year to fill a training need in the industry as SMS becomes more prevalent in our industry, ” said Jason Starke, Baldwin director of standards.

Baldwin now has 15 virtual training courses approved for NBAA CAM credits, including the 12 that make up the safety manager certification program. Each course is 45 to 75 minutes long, broken into short modules, and can be purchased individually or as a discounted program package.

In the Baldwin portal, clients can receive supplemental videos covering the application's teaching principles to reinforce the instruction. Founded in 2004, Baldwin is a global company founded to support the implementation and maintenance of customizable safety and quality management (SMS/QMS) and related business support systems.
