Boeing unit Jeppesen has notified customers via its website that it is “currently experiencing technical issues with some of our products, services, and communications channels.” Notam feeds are one element that isn't working.
Jeppesen’s outage notice on its website says “We are working to restore functionality as soon as possible.” A ForeFlight blog post (ForeFlight is owned by Boeing) warned about the notam problem and gave links to alternative sites to look up notams: “Our notam provider is currently experiencing technical issues with their services which are impacting the receipt and processing of new notams in ForeFlight. We are working to restore our notam feed as soon as possible.
"Flight Operators are reminded that the notams offices (NoF)/air navigation services providers (ANSP) for the countries of departure, overflight, and arrival are alternative sources of notams.”
According to a Boeing statement, "Our subsidiary, Jeppesen, experienced a cyber incident affecting certain flight planning products and services. There has been some flight planning disruption, but at this time we have no reason to believe that this incident poses a threat to aircraft or flight safety. We are in communication with customers and regulatory authorities, and working to restore full service as soon as possible.”
