Content Body

Aero Star Aviation, an FAA repair station specializing in Embraer Phenom 100 and 300 maintenance, has received certification to be a Mexico Agencia Federal de Aviación Civil (AFAC) approved repair station at its Dallas facility. The certification brings safety and certification continuity between the FAA and Mexico’s aviation authority, AFAC, which produces government policy for the development of aviation and oversees, training, aviation infrastructure, technical development, and safety.

The certification "provides our customers additional service opportunities and the flexibility to have their aircraft serviced in strategic locations as needed,” said Aero Star owner and president Chris Grinnell.

The company, which was founded in 2013, offers scheduled maintenance, pre-purchase and 10-year inspections, engine changes, line maintenance, wheel assembly exchanges, and AOG support. With a second location in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Aero Star also provides in-house aircraft consulting and management.
