International charter, management, brokerage, and sales firm Global Jet is calling 2023 an “extraordinary phase” for the company, noting strategic growth across its operations.
On the charter front, Global Jet said it has made several large-aircraft fleet additions, including a Gulfstream G550 based at Paris Le Bourget, 650ER in Geneva, Bombardier Global Express XRS in southern France, Dassault Falcon 900LX in Paris, and Global 7500 in Geneva. Other additions include an Airbus ACJ319neo and waiting in the wings to come is a Falcon 7X.
Global Jet also noted that recent approvals have opened its market options, such as the G650ER's ability to operate at London City Airport and the operation of its Boeing Business Jets BBJ under Part 129 within the U.S. Meanwhile, Global Jet has achieved new safety recognitions, including IS-BAO Stage 3, and Wyvern Wingman renewal for its Luxembourg operation.
As with its charter fleet, its management fleet also is growing with seven additions, including a Bombardier 7500, and four more anticipated to join shortly.
In its aircraft sales and brokerage business, Global Jet said it sold three aircraft in the first quarter of the year alone and that it has secured listing on a BBJ, Falcon 7X, Falcon 2000LX, Falcon 2000EX, and Pilatus PC-24. The company added it is expecting more in the near future “with a robust pipeline of projects for the coming months.”
In other areas, Global Jet has opened a new commercial office in Dubai to meet the growth demand it has seen in the Middle East market. Thomas David was named head of business development in the region from the Dubai office. It also added Manuel Montero to its charter sales team in Spain and promoted Denis Mironov to charter sales manager in Geneva.
