Universal Weather and Aviation’s Feasibility-IQ mission planning and intelligence app has been integrated with Portside’s Professional Flight Management (PFM) flight operations management system. PFM users can push a button in PFM to synchronize trip details with Feasibility-IQ. Demonstrations of the integration are available at Universal’s and PFM’s booths this week at the 2024 NBAA Schedulers & Dispatchers Conference in Fort Worth, Texas.

“PFM users can now not only facilitate trip services by pushing their mission details to Universal from PFM but can now also harness Feasibility-IQ’s real-time planning intelligence for their business aviation missions,” said Guido Groeschel, executive v-p of digital product management for Universal. “This is the latest example of how Universal and Portside are collaborating to develop innovative solutions that solve real problems and reduce the operational friction that our mutual clients have.”

This integration is the second between Universal and PFM. The two companies previously connected Feasibility-IQ with Portside’s BART scheduling software and Universal’s trip support data and uvGO mission management platform PFM.

Features available via Feasibility-IQ include vetted information on customs procedures and details on “ground logistics, crew and passenger entry requirements, facilities, peak periods, location trends, and more for thousands of airports worldwide,” according to Universal. By integrating this capability with PFM, users can access Feasibility-IQ features that previously were available only through Universal Trip Support.

“Both PFM and Universal share a commitment to deliver reliable and leading-edge solutions that allow clients to consistently and accurately manage operations,” said PFM general manager Phil Barnes. "The partnership between PFM and Universal will help customers more effectively manage flight and travel logistics end-to-end so they can deliver a  high-end, personalized travel experience to their passengers.”
