The 11th annual aviation career fair this week at the Sun ’n Fun Aerospace Expo in Lakeland, Florida, will have an extra day, spanning six days, and expanded hours. Held in partnership with aviation job website JSfirm, this year’s career fair will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. EDT daily from Tuesday through Sunday.
Career fair exhibitors this year include several business aviation companies: Cirrus Aircraft, Daher, flyExclusive, PlaneSense, and Vista America. More than a dozen regional and national U.S. airlines are also exhibiting at the event.
“While Sun ’n Fun is celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2024, the career fair continues to expand. What started as a one-day, five-hour event has grown to a six-day event,” said JSfirm executive director Abbey Hutter. “It’s been amazing to personally witness the expansion over the years. Our partnership with Sun ’n Fun has been in place for more than 10 years. There was a brief two-year hiatus for the career fair in the pandemic (2020 and 2021); however, we continue to see more job opportunities than pre-Covid. We always encourage everyone to stop by and network—you never know who you’ll meet.”
