“We’ve been developing our own data software for some time and we’re so pleased to finally unveil the start of our journey,” said Marc Knapp, technology director at Axis Aviation.
Axis was founded in 2022 to develop an asset management platform that would not only simplify the task but also make information more accessible and with complete transparency. At EBACE 2024, the platform is now being launched.
“The unveiling of our data asset management platform underpins our commitment to innovation and technology,” said executive chairman Niall Olver. “Having real-time access to accurate information can be extremely beneficial, bringing about significant time savings for crewmembers while reducing complexity for jet owners and family offices. As we continue enhancing our offering, Axis Aviation will affirm its position as the go-to choice for transparent aircraft management.”
Taking an end-to-end, holistic approach, the platform connects insights from existing feeds to make flight information more accessible. It also can be tailored to meet specific customer needs, while ongoing in-house development will see mobile applications become available for aircraft owners and crewmembers. Applicable real-time updates will be flagged up on the phone.
Knapp commented, “I am incredibly excited to work with such a dedicated team who are determined to challenge the status quo. This is just the beginning of a completely new approach, and we look forward to bringing new capabilities to the management and charter market.”
