Since launching the Centrik safety management system (SMS) platform in 2012, TrustFlight has continually upgraded the product and now it has released a major refresh, Centrik 5. The latest version includes a new user interface with global navigation, a dark mode, and at-a-glance overviews and focused tasks and actions in a new dashboard view.
Users submitting reports will be able to do so more efficiently as the new interface “promotes active use of the system by reducing the actions needed to submit reports,” according to TrustFlight.
Centrik users number more than 70,000 aerospace personnel from advanced air mobility, airlines, airports, business aviation, MROs, OEMs, training organizations, and regulators. “Centrik is leveraged by five of the top ten business aviation fleets globally, making it one of the most popular systems within aerospace for safety,” said TrustFlight CEO Karl Steeves. “The sheer breadth and capability of the system makes it one of our flagship offerings, and so significant investment was justified, particularly on the heels of upcoming safety mandates from multiple regulatory authorities.”
In addition to SMS modules that include safety, quality, and risk on one integrated platform, Centrik integrates with the FAA’s Aviation Safety Information Analysis and Sharing system and the European Union’s ECCAIRS 2 reporting system. Other Centrik modules include documents, workflows, meetings, asset management, and training.
