Aircare International will open its latest flight crew emergency training facility on July 15 in Las Vegas. Similar to the training provider’s other five locations throughout the country, this center—located just off the southeast corner of Harry Reid International Airport (KLAS) in the recently-opened CAE flight training complex—will offer full-motion cabin simulators, live firefighting exercises, hypoxia simulation, and water survival skills.
Aircare’s FACTS training curriculum combines online self-study modules, interactive classroom discussions, and intensive, hands-on practical exercises to encourage knowledge retention and emergency response skills. At the Las Vegas facility, one-day pilot courses will be available weekly, while open-enrollment flight attendant courses will be offered one or two times a month, along with other on-demand training options.
“Business aviation activity continues to increase in the Las Vegas area, making it an ideal location for a full-time training center,” said Brian Hayvaz, v-p of operations for Aircare FACTS training. “The new facility will offer flexible and comprehensive training solutions in a convenient location.”
