Perrone is giving the spotlight to its latest range of leathers and textiles for business aircraft cabin interiors during NBAA-BACE 2024. The New York-based tannery, which has been producing fine leathers for the market for more than 30 years, is showing off how new techniques such as color printing, embossing, and perforation can increase customization options for clients.
Perrone is now part of the Insperial group and is jointly exhibiting the work of sister company Adhetec, which offers decorative solutions for cabin monuments and wall panels. These processes can incorporate high-resolution images, graphics, colors, contours, and graded effects for window and wall panels and other cabin structures.
Also on display at Perrone’s booth are fabrics developed by its partner Alcantara. The company combines 3D design to introduce tactile elements to soft goods used in aircraft.
“We work in one of the world’s oldest industries, but we never stop looking for ways to innovate and create customized solutions for our customers,” said Perrone CEO Bill Perrone. “What really sets us apart is our fast lead times and low minimum order quantities.”
