ExecuJet Malaysia Approved To Support Chinese Falcons

The Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) has approved ExecuJet MRO Services Malaysia to conduct line and base maintenance on Chinese-registered Dassault Falcon 7X and 2000EX Easy aircraft. Announced on Tuesday, the approval marks the first time the wholly-owned subsidiary of Dassault Aviation has been approved to support Falcons registered in China.

Located in Kuala Lumpur, the ExecuJet Malaysia facility can now do base maintenance checks up to and including 4C checks, which is the most comprehensive check on the two Falcons. This week, the Chinese regulator also renewed the company’s approval as a maintenance organization for Bombardier and Gulfstream aircraft. In 2019, CAAC approved ExecuJet to provide line and heavy maintenance on Gulfstream GIV jets, and the Bombardier Challenger and Global Express aircraft.

“The fact that China is such a big market for business aviation, and one that is in close proximity to Malaysia, means it is an ideal market for us to target,” said Ivan Lim, regional vice president for Asia at ExecuJet MRO Services. “We are seeing an increasing number of Chinese-registered business jets flying to Malaysia and other parts of Southeast Asia due to the growing economic ties between China and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations.”

In January, Taiwan’s Civil Aviation Administration approved ExecuJet MRO Services Malaysia to provide line and base maintenance as an overseas repair station for Taiwanese-registered Bombardier Challenger and Global Aircraft.
