StandardAero completed supplemental type certificates (STCs) for both Gogo Galileo half- and full-duplex antenna installations on Bombardier 600-series Challengers. According to the company, this is the first time a completion center has simultaneously secured dual STCs for the HDX and FDX connectivity systems.

The FAA approvals cover the Challenger 600, 601, 604, 605, and 650. StandardAero completed the HDX installation on a Challenger 605 at its Springfield, Illinois facility at Abraham Lincoln Capital Airport, while the FDX installation was finished on a Challenger 604 at its Van Nuys, California location.

“We’re thrilled StandardAero has secured STCs for not one, but two of our Gogo Galileo antennas,” said Gogo CEO Chris Moore. "This milestone accelerates adoption by providing more operators with more flexible connectivity choices. It also highlights StandardAero’s trusted expertise and our shared commitment to delivering the next generation of in-flight connectivity."

Leveraging Eutelsat’s OneWeb low-earth-orbit satellite constellation, the HDX and FDX terminals deliver high-speed, low-latency connectivity across business aviation aircraft worldwide. The compact, fuselage-mounted phased array antennas are designed to provide consistent performance on global routes.

StandardAero is collaborating with Gogo and Bombardier Global Express, XRS, 5000, 5500, 6000, 6500, and 7500 customers to develop additional Galileo HDX and FDX FAA STCs for release in the first half of 2026.
