Dallas-based Aero Star Aviation, which specializes in Embraer Phenom and Praetor maintenance, is expanding by adding services for Textron Aviation Cessna Citation 560XL and Latitude owners. An FAA-approved Part 145 repair station, Aero Star was founded in 2013 and has facilities at Love Field (KDAL) in Texas and a satellite office in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Services for Citation owners include scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and airframe support, according to Aero Star. The company has invested in maintenance technician training and tools to support the addition of the Citation models. Aero Star also offers pre-purchase and 10-year inspections, engine changes, line maintenance, wheel assembly exchange, and AOG support, plus aircraft consulting and management.
