Content Body

StackAero is introducing a “contracts module” to its Business Operations System (BOS) for charter brokers and operators. The company said the new feature will make it easier to manage how clients are using flight hours paid for under block charter or fractional ownership arrangements, including jet-card products.

According to StackAero business development manager Cat Buchanan, the tool acts as a utilization tracker for managing contractual arrangements, including extensive tours by performers. The company has been stress-testing the addition to its software and will make it available to clients in the next few weeks.

BOS is based on the ubiquitous Salesforce customer relationship management system and can be integrated with other flight operations and charter software used in the business aviation sector. StackAero is about to start integrating the Leon flight operations and scheduling software and is already working with charter flight planning specialist FL3XX.

Buchanan said StackAero’s platform tracks patterns in customer behavior and preferences, focusing especially on issues that can impact the bottom lines of operators and brokers. It provides what she called a “customer health score” to indicate levels of satisfaction and likely retention, as well as signaling to operators which brokers have the most productive conversion rates for booking trips.

BOS also has a “squawk” feature that tracks repeated issues at specific airports and FBOs to help companies develop workaround processes. In addition, it can highlight issues such as imminent passport expiry for passengers and crew.

Buchanan told AIN that some StackAero clients have achieved significant sales growth since using the BOS platform. For instance, Ryan Aviation Group, which specializes in arranging tours by music groups, has increased the number of brokers it employs from four to 23.
