Content Body

Fourth Front Aviation, an aircraft maintenance and modification provider based at Los Angeles-area Santa Monica Airport, has acquired D&J Aviation, an FAA Part 145 service center at Colorado Springs Airport (KCOS). D&J’s leadership and staff will remain at the KCOS facility, which will be rebranded as Fourth Front Colorado.

“Our customers increasingly seek a maintenance partner capable of supporting aircraft across multiple locations while maintaining consistent standards and technical expertise,” said Fourth Front co-founder Tom Schaefer.

The KCOS facility, which serves a wide range of business aircraft operators, will provide full-spectrum avionics installations and support, scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, aircraft modifications and equipment installations, aircraft pre-purchase inspections, and fleet support. Fourth Front’s purchase establishes it as a growing national provider of aviation maintenance and modification services, and gives it a strong operational presence in the Rocky Mountain region.

“Our objective is to build a premier network of aviation service centers focused on improved customer experience, technical excellence, transparency, and communication,” explained Schaefer. “The addition of KCOS expands our geographic reach while increasing our capacity to support aircraft owners and operators throughout the Western United States.”
