Embraer delivered 41 business jets in the just completed third quarter, the Brazilian airframer reported today. Its 66 total aircraft deliveries in the quarter—including commercial and military aircraft—marked the best third-quarter delivery performance in the company’s history.
The business jet mix included 22 light jets (two Phenom 100s and 20 Phenom 300s) and 19 Praetors (nine midsize Model 500s and 10 super-midsize Model 600s).
According to the company, the 41 executive jet deliveries—unchanged from third-quarter 2025—reflect the progress of its production-leveling program instituted over the past two years, which has gradually reduced the concentration of deliveries in the second half of the year. In years past, the manufacturer would concentrate a large percentage of its annual deliveries in the fourth quarter.
The third-quarter total also brings the OEM’s executive jet division to 115 deliveries year to date, well on its way towards meeting its 160- to 170-aircraft forecast.
“Our consistent third-quarter delivery performance reflects continued growth in the business aviation market and strong execution of our strategy,” Embraer Executive Jets president and CEO Michael Amalfitano told AIN. “Global demand for our industry-leading products remains robust across corporate, high-net-worth, and fractional customers, reinforcing confidence in our brand. We remain focused on operational excellence, production discipline, and an outstanding customer experience as we strengthen our market leadership and drive long-term profitable growth.”
Embraer delivered the first Praetor 600E to launch customer Flexjet, the aircraft manufacturer reported in September. The super-midsize jet was part of a $7 billion order placed by Flexjet last year—the largest in the operator’s history.
The Praetor 600E, which received a trio of certifications in April, offers a suite of passenger experience enhancements. These include newly designed seating, an advanced cabin management system, and the Embraer-exclusive Smart Window, a 42-inch OLED touchscreen that enables videoconferencing, high-resolution video streaming, and real-time views from three externally mounted cameras.
Timing of this handover comes as a surprise because the airframer said in February, when announcing the Praetor family upgrade, that first deliveries would begin in early 2029. That timeline will still apply only to non-Flexjet customers.
The smaller Praetor 500E—which received FAA, EASA, and ANAC certification in June—will make its debut with launch customer Flexjet by year-end, also years ahead of original plans.
