Dallas Avionics has been selected as the exclusive distributor of the NavWorx ADS600-B ADS-B OUT and IN transceiver. The ADS600-B retails for $1,999, and buyers can opt to add a Wi-Fi adapter for displaying ADS-B IN weather and traffic on a mobile device and also purchase RS232 and RS422 interfaces for integration with compatible panel-mounted displays or an external altitude encoder (RS232).


“The beauty of the NavWorx ADS600-B is that is easily integrates with existing equipment,” said Dallas Avionics vice president of sales Scott Davis. “The product uses any existing Mode C or S transponders. Customers do not need to replace their existing transponder or altitude encoder.”


The ADS600-B is a 978UAT transceiver, with built-in WAAS GPS position source, and it mounts remotely. For integration with certain existing older transponders, customers need to purchase the NavWorx TransMonSpe, which detects “Mode A and Mode C replies when the transponder is interrogated by ground radar or other aircraft having TCAS equipment,” according to NavWorx.
