Shadin Avionics (Booth 6825) of St. Louis Park, Minnesota, has received a supplemental type certificate for installation of its RemoteFlo Fuel Flow System on the Robinson R66 and Rolls-Royce RR300 turboshaft, the company announced.
RemoteFlo provides pilots with real-time fuel-flow information on their GPS or flight management system, along with specific range with graphical range rings, fuel to destination, fuel reserve, endurance, fuel used and fuel remaining.
According to Brad Jacobson of Shadin Avionics, “The RemoteFlo has been on the market as a glass-panel replacement for Shadin’s Digiflo, Miniflo and Microflo products on many aircraft types for several years. Now R66 operators can take advantage of the operational efficiency and safety enhancements provided by RemoteFlo.”
