Content Body

Axnes (Booth N3705), a developer of wireless intercom solutions, is expanding into the helicopter firefighting and utility sector. In fact, U.S. Special Operations Command, Norwegian Air Ambulance, Norwegian Police, and the Turkish Air Force have recently selected Axnes PNG wireless incident communication system (ICS) products.

A waterproof MP50 and smaller water resistant MP30 are offered by Axnes to provide full-duplex wireless transmission and reception, noise and echo cancelling, GPS positioning, NVG compatibility, and secure encryption technology. Both of the devices are packaged in a water and dust-resistant aircraft-grade aluminum case. The company's PNG units have a battery life that provides up to 15 hours of continuous power or 40 hours of standby time.

Axnes is an EASA Part 21 and Part 145-approved organization. The company is also an approved supplier to Leonardo Helicopters, Airbus Helicopters, Bell, and Sikorsky.
