CHC Group and Collective Magazine have announced that they will each provide a scholarship to a qualifying member of Whirly-Girls International for the 2018 CHC Safety and Quality Summit. The scholarship package will include the conference attendance fee, flights, accommodations, meals, and access to a two-day HFACS course.
“We appreciate the chance to expose two of our most deserving members to this year’s summit. The importance of safety for everyone who plays a part in our industry cannot be overstated, and we are excited to have our members lend their voice and perspective to these important discussions,” said Joni Schultz, the president of Whirly-Girls International (Booth C830).
All active Whirly-Girls members who are in good standing at the time of application are eligible to apply for the scholarship. Details surrounding the application will be distributed to members this month.
“I had a chance to speak with two scholarship attendees at last year’s event, and it was clear to me how beneficial it was to them, not just in session content, but also for the opportunities to network and engage with leaders from across the globe,” said Collective Magazine CEO Ryan Mason. The 14th annual summit will take place at the Gaylord Texan Resort & Convention Center in Dallas in October.
“The success of each of our events relies on the perspectives and experiences of our participants, and we are happy to help offer access to two aviators who might otherwise be unable to attend,” said Duncan Trapp, the vice president of safety and quality at CHC Helicopter.
