EuroTec Vertical Flight Solutions (Booth B424), along with subsidiary EuroTec Canada, sold, completed, and delivered a VIP-configured Bell 407GXP to a private operator in Switzerland, the company announced at Heli-Expo 2019. EuroTec’s services span helicopter sales, completions, MRO, consulting, and also transport coordination from both its Kansas City, Missouri-area headquarters, as well as its Canadian subsidiary outside Toronto, Ontario.
The company also announced that it is in the final stages of completion of a utility Kaman K-Max for Washington state-based Rainier Heli International, which specializes in heavy-lifting projects. The K-Max can lift 6,000 pounds with one of the quietest lift noise levels available. Equipment installed on the helicopter includes a Garmin avionics package; Technisonic Digital FM radios; Jupiter Avionics audio panel; Honeywell SkyConnect Tracker II; Avidyne traffic advisory system; and additional key components from Mid-Continent Instruments, Kelly/KMC, Pulselite, and Whelen. Rainier Heli said Indiana’s AgMaxx will operate the aircraft in its busy utility program.
For the Swiss VIP completion, EuroTec started with a factory-new Bell 407GXP from its inventory and then added a Genesys HeliSAS autopilot, AirComm heat and de-mist system, traffic advisory system, radar altimeter, and mission-specific options. EuroTec then finished the aircraft with a custom paint job and leather interior package. The helicopter will operate year-round in a high-frequency corporate flight department, so the package also comes with a new remote control Helitowcart for easy ground handling.
