BendixKing has named Mid-Continent Instruments and Avionics an authorized sales and service center for AeroCruze and xCruze autopilots, including the AeroCruze 100/230 and xCruze 100/110, formerly known as TruTrak Vizion and Gemini. The designation builds upon the Wichita-based aircraft instrument manufacturer and repair firm’s more than four-decade relationship with the Honeywell unit.
“As a BendixKing repair partner for more than 45 years, it was a natural fit for us to add the AeroCruze and xCruze to the lineup,” said Mid-Continent Instruments v-p of sales David Copeland. The popular autopilot lines were acquired by BendixKing from TruTrak Flight Systems last year.
Designed for Cessna 170- and 180- and Piper PA 28- and PA 32-series airplanes, AeroCruze 100/230 autopilots integrate with the AeroVue Touch GPS/EFIS and other flight deck instruments. The most commonly used GPS/EFIS on experimental aircraft interface with the xCruze 100 and 110 autopilots.
