Content Body

The BendixKing AeroCruze 230 autopilot is now approved to replace KFC 200 autopilots, bringing the number of aircraft platforms available for the upgrade to more than 35. Aircraft that qualify to have the AeroCruze 230 installed include multiengine Cessnas, Beechcraft Barons and Bonanzas, Mooneys, Piper’s Malibu, Mirage, Seneca, and Seminole, and others.

Aircraft equipped with the KFC 150 and 200 autopilots can be modified with the AeroCruze 230, which features a touchscreen and wings level capability. By pressing the wings level button, the pilot can quickly recover to straight and level flight to regain control during an unusual attitude encounter.

Installation is made easier because the AeroCruze 230 uses existing autopilot servos. And BendixKing gives buyers a new two-year servo warranty. The AeroCruze 230 is also a form-fit replacement for the KFC autopilots.

“We understand the need for affordable, high-precision autopilots in the general aviation segment that help reduce workload and allow pilots to concentrate on important tasks while flying,” said Roger Dykmann, BendixKing director, offering management. “AeroCruze 230 is designed to not only meet but exceed those needs, and now this upgrade option is available for even more aircraft.”
