GPMS (Booth 6605) has received Transport Canada STC approval for installation of its Foresight MX health usage and monitoring system (HUMS) on the Airbus H125 platform, including the AS350B3. East West Helicopter (Booth 7222) completed the installation via its associated Canadian company, Panterra Heli Support. The Canadian STC was based on prior STC approval from the FAA.
Foresight weighs six pounds and is sold as a service. It provides predictive engine and components monitoring, rotor track and balance, and flight data monitoring with exceedence alerting. Its cloud-based system data moves automatically via Wi-Fi or cellular connections and is accessible via any browser-equipped device.
“As a lessor, East West sees the value of Foresight MX providing insight into their fleet assets and can be confident knowing that their customers have state-of-the-art predictive health monitoring available around the clock globally,” said GPMS president Jed Kalkstein.
