Hartzell is highlighting new propeller products at EAA AirVenture 2022 for aircraft including the Diamond DA40 NG, Mooney M20M/TLS/Bravo, and for Wipaire's four-blade carbon fiber propeller STC for the Cessna Caravan. At the show Hartzell will also be offering a $1,000 discount on all of its new backcountry propellers sold to members of the Recreational Aviation Foundation.
Backcountry propellers are designed for shorter takeoff distances and better rates of climb. These propeller models include the Explorer, a three-bladed Raptor series ASC-II composite available for certain experimental aircraft; the Voyager, a three-bladed aluminum scimitar optimized for the Cessna 180, 182, 185, and 206; the Pathfinder, a three-bladed Raptor series ASC-II composite available for experimental aircraft and the Cubcrafters XCub and Carbon Cub FX; and the Trailblazer two-bladed or three-bladed ASC-II composite available for various aircraft models from American Champion, American Legend, Aviat, Avipro, Cubcrafters, Glasair, and Maule.
Hartzell is sponsoring a variety of AirVenture air show performers including Michael Goulian and Matt Younkin and promoting and sponsoring the EAA Pilot Proficiency Center, a skill-building and gathering area where pilots can improve their knowledge, skills, and network.
Hartzell Propeller and sister companies Hartzell Engine Technologies and AWI-AMI form the general aviation business unit of Tailwind Technologies.
