Content Body

Texas Aerospace Technologies will now be offering the aerial firefighting radio system produced by Anodyne Electronics Manufacturing (AEM) to its customers in Latin America. Under a partnership agreed between the companies, the MTP136D modern panel-mount P25 VHF FM Forest Service radio is now available for preorder by helicopter operators.

“We take pride in the growth of our strategic partnership with AEM," said Texas Aerospace Technologies v-p Brad Sutphin. "Our Latin American customers have benefited from AEM’s special mission communication solutions, such as loudspeaker systems, digital audio systems, AS350 consoles, and master caution panels."

Sutphin told AIN that the company will begin shipping the radios shortly. “It’s expected to be delivered in roughly six to eight weeks. What we're saying is we're taking orders now. There's obviously a lead time for a build process and those sorts of things,” he added. “It is something that we're actively pursuing with our customers in the region.”

Texas Aerospace Technologies has a large clientele of police and firefighters in the area who are active customers, according to Sutphin, and it has already received its first orders for the radio.
