Gogo Global Broadband will Deliver Connectivity for a Wide Range of Aircraft

During the recent Aircraft Electronics Association Convention, Gogo Business Aviation outlined its forthcoming global broadband service that will run on partner OneWeb’s new low-earth-orbit satellite constellation. The service was announced at EBACE 2022, and it is scheduled to launch in early 2024. The required antenna is small enough for installation on the fuselage of light jets and large turboprops to ultra long-range jets.

The OneWeb network will deliver performance comparable to terrestrial broadband services, with latency that is significantly less than geostationary satellites can provide. Multiple users will be able to perform data-heavy interactive online activities such as video conferencing anywhere in the world.
