Description

Under proposed revisions of Part 43 maintenance regulations, Australia’s Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) will require nine new fees. CASA says the proposed fees adhere to the Australian government’s “cost recovery program,” which requires federal agencies to charge for services such as applications for permissions, license renewals, inspections, authorizations, and certain training programs. The proposed fees are part of CASA’s new Part 43 specifically designed for general aviation. A two-week comment period ends on Nov. 6, 2023.
