Description

Part 66 of Australia's Civil Aviation Safety Regulations details standards for the issue of aircraft engineer licenses, ratings, and training requirements. On occasion throughout each calendar year, miscellaneous and editorial amendments to Part 66 that do not substantially alter existing regulatory arrangements are proposed. A current proposal would clarify the basic knowledge and competency requirements for applicants who are applying for a Category C license and updates type rating information, including the addition of new aircraft types and new type certificate holders to the aircraft type ratings lists. Comments are due Nov. 17, 2021.
