Australia’s Civil Aviation Safety Authority is seeking feedback on amendments to type rating information by adding new aircraft types and a new type certificate (TC) holder to the listing of aircraft for which a pilot type rating is required. Revisions include adding Airbus Canada Limited Partnership to the list of TC holders and its aircraft type ratings; and updating type rating data by adding to, or amending aircraft models currently listed for, Cessna Aircraft, Embraer, Gulfstream Aerospace (c/o Israel Aircraft Industries), and Airbus Helicopters. Operations of the aircraft covered in the update are pending until the new or modified model types have been added to the type rating lists. Comments on the proposed amendments are due by May 29, 2023.
