Description
Transport Canada is proposing to require the mandatory installation of lightweight flight recording systems on certain commercial and private operators flying turbine-powered aircraft not currently required to carry flight data recorders (FDRs). Current rules required FDRs on Canadian certified multiengine, turbine-powered aircraft configured for more than 10 passengers and manufactured after Oct. 11, 1991. Comments on the proposal are due March 5, 2022.
