Description
The NTSB will revise its current requirement to require notification of ACAS for all advisories within Class A airspace. The new rule requires notification only “when an aircraft is being operated on an IFR flight plan and the advisory is necessary to avert a substantial risk of collision between two or more aircraft.” This direct final rule will be effective Feb. 16, 2016, unless the NTSB receives adverse comment by Jan. 14, 2016. If the Board receives adverse comment, it will withdraw the rule.
