Description
Developers of a major expansion proposal that includes adding 17 new hangars (down from 26 in the original proposal), and the renovation of 18 hangars and associated ramp and vehicle parking areas at Lawrence G. Hanscom Field in Bedford, Massachusetts, have submitted their draft environmental impact report to the state’s office of energy and environment affairs for public comment. The new hangars are expected to be occupied by a variety of small and large piston and turbine general aviation aircraft. After the environmental process is completed, the developer will have to go through proceedings for any other state, local, and FAA approvals. Comments on the environmental report are due by May 10, 2024.
