Requires repetitive inspections of the hoist boom assembly and corrective actions and/or replacement, if necessary. The AD stems from a review of design data that determined that affected parts must be inspected repetitively based on accumulated cycles. Failure to implement this inspection could lead to the failure of affected parts, possibly resulting in the loss of the load and injury to persons.
